Anthony Timothy Barlow is a lifelong friend of Chris's and was originally coached by Chris. They attended Higher Education College together, during which time they both travelled to and entered a number of tennis tournaments… (One of which Tony is proud to say he reached the semi-final stage).

After completing his A levels in Pure Maths and English Literature, Tony travelled through Europe for 2 years. A time that he describes as being highly educational! He returned to Britain to embark on a B.A. (Hons) course of study in Law & Politics at Oxford Brookes University. He joined the University's Drama Society, and was Narrator for their production of Peter Schaeffer's…'The Royal Hunt of the Sun', which enjoyed a successful run at the Oxford Playhouse. (During his early days in Rhyl, Tony was a member of the local Dramatic Society).
Whilst at Oxford, Tony continued an early association with the guitar and song writing.

Tony graduated, and returned home to Wales to seek employment. During his spare time he studied the martial art of Shotokan Karate, and represented his club at Regional and National level.
The multinational telecommunications group 'Cable and Wireless' eventually employed him, and, due to high Sales achievements he won a car, and holidays to Barbados and Ireland.

Tony has written over 200 songs… Last year, while recording his first album, Chris approached him with the idea of a tennis musical, and asked him to consider writing some lyrics. Ever keen to expand his horizons, Tony presented Chris with 10 songs within a week, and a further dozen or so within the next few weeks.

Tony continues his study of music and literature ranging from the classics to contemporary, and continues writing. He has presented Film Four with one of his scripts, and has written a follow up to a cult movie. Together, he and Chris have begun work on their next musical!
